Maxie’s fever has gone down since this afternoon, but the poor little guy still isn’t feeling well..
And, I have to go into work tonight.

Emma giggled as Ellie and Ava ran towards each other in a loving hug. “Elllieee!” Ava squealed back at the girl, hugging her tightly. “Hello, there handsome boy.” Emma cooed over Max, as she kissed his little cheek. “Owh.. really? Have you took him to the doctors? Maybe they’ll give him some medicine for it.” Emma smiled, sitting down at the table and resting her head in her palm. “Yes please.” Emma told Holly, before placing a leg over the other. “So, any luck with finding a new worker?” Emma asked looking over at Ellie and Ava who were now playing on the floor.
Max grinned a toothless grin, and glanced up at Emma, squealing and squirming around in his mother’s arm. The little boy had always been content with getting attention from strangers. “Yeah, I’m gonna take him to the doctors tomorrow, ‘cause Ellie has an appointment, too,” looking down at the girls on the floor, she smiled and batted her eyelashes before pouring them each a cup of coffee. She shook her head at Emma’s question, and set the coffee down on the table, pushing the cup towards Emma. “Not yet. I mean, there have been a few applications, but most of them are teenagers looking for part time work, and I need someone full time,” she sighed, before taking the seat across from Emma.
